Introduction

Process piping is a system of pipes used to transport a medium (liquids and gases) from one location to another. But Process piping just doesn't mean only pipes. It also includes valves, fittings, and other components to assist in the conveyance of the medium. Some of you have seen residential piping in your kitchen, laundry room, or washroom. Residential piping is relatively simple in comparison to process piping. The process piping routes are often running in all directions and require various kinds of instrumentation to monitor the system.
